Chocolami with Smoked Bacon Strips

Chocolami with Smoked Bacon Strips
Preparation time 10 minutes, 4 hours waiting time

For one sausage.

½ pack of Smoked Bacon Strips
125 grams of chocolate (72%)
75 grams of butter
35 grams of mixed nuts
5 Maria biscuits
3 tablespoons powdered sugar

Fry the Smoked Bacon Strips until brown and crispy. Chop the mixed nuts coarsely. Break the chocolate into small pieces and put into a bowl. Melt the chocolate au bain-marie. When the chocolate is melted, add the butter and stir until it is completely dissolved.

Add the nuts and Smoked Bacon Strips to the chocolate mixture. Crumble the biscuits and add them as well. Stir well and put the mixture in the fridge for 1 hour. Take the chocolate-mixture out of the fridge and spread it in lengthwise on a piece of foil. Carefully roll a 5 cm thick sausage and close the foil well. Put the sausage back in the refrigerator and leave for 3 hours.

Remove the Chocolami before serving from the refrigerator and gently remove the foil. Roll the sausage through some powdered sugar and cut into slices. Use a sharp hot knife for this. You can prepare the rolled chocolate bar 2 days in advance and store it in the refrigerator.
