Easter Buns with Mini Meatballs
For 24 buns

Preparation time: 30 minutes
Waiting time: 60 minutes

2 boxes of Mini Meatballs
500 grams flour
half tablespoon salt
21 grams of fresh yeast
half a teaspoon of granulated sugar
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
325 ml of lukewarm water

Mix and sift the flour and salt, make a hole in the middle. Add the yeast in the lukewarm water, with sugar and olive oil and stir. Let it rest for 5 minutes. Pour the mixture into the  flour, stir slowly with a fork. When everything is well mixed, knead untill a smooth dough. Leave the dough in a bowl covered under a damp towel to rise twice its volume. This takes about 45 minutes.

Preheat oven to 220 degrees. Divide the dough into 24 equal pieces and roll them out to small circles with a diameter of approximately 5 centimeters. Fold the dough around the Mini Meatballs and press gently. Put the buns (bottom down) on a baking tray. Bake the buns for about 15 minutes until golden brown. Nice to serve with a fresh tomato sauce or mango chutney for example.
